Petitgrain, Cedarwood & Clary Sage
20.0% Perfume Concentration
A woody citrus perfume with herbaceous textures from invigorating clary sage combined with energetic black pepper and petitgrain. This citrus spice infusion lifts aromatic Cedarwood and frankincense from the base. The emerald green colour of the bottle reflects the original bottles of the Crown Perfumery Company- the perfect tribute for a perfume that pays tribute to the year the crown was granted by Queen Victoria to adorn every bottle.
notes
top notes: Petitgrain
Peach and aromatic Lavender bridge the fruitiness of Petitgrain and pressed Citrus fruit with combined spices Rosemary, Black Pepper and Nutmeg, creating the perfect segue into a complex heart and base.
heart notes: Clary Sage
The heart packs a bold, herbaceous punch. True to its legacy in the military strategies of Emperor Nero, who used it to energise his troops, Clary Sage is infused with Jasmine, Neroli and Musk to give vitality and strength.
base notes: Freesia
Arboreal notes of Cedar wood, Sandalwood and Freesia temper richer surface notes, planting the fragrance in the fertile English countryside and transporting wearers to the heart of the forest.
the royal seal
The Crown Perfumery was founded in 1872, in which year Queen Victoria authorised the image of her crown to be used in the design of its bottles, securing the brand’s popularity among the British establishment.
